Sky customers can get a free Apple TV+ subscription with a new deal saving over £25. The TV and broadband provider is offering a host of freebies alongside its packed entertainment packages, which also include Netflix, Hayu, and Paramount+.
Customers who sign up for any of Sky’s TV packages can claim free Apple TV+ for three months as part of Sky’s VIP loyalty program, which also includes a free movie from the Sky Store. The Apple TV+ deal is available with a range of TV deals including the Sky TV, Sky Stream, and Netflix package for £26 a month, saving almost £90 over the 18-month term.
Sky is also offering free Paramount+ with Sky Cinema, which can be added to the bundle for an additional £10, while Sky Sports is available for £20. Buyers can also save £84 on the Sky Glass and Netflix bundle, now reduced to £24 for the first three months for a top-spec 65″ 4K smart TV with built-in Dolby Atmos and Sky sound.
The Apple TV+ deal, which can be claimed through the My Sky app, is available to new and returning subscribers and saves £26.97 over three months. After the promotional period, Apple TV+ will return to the usual price of £8.99 a month, at which point members will be able to cancel.
Apple TV+ is the go-to platform for major titles like Masters of the Air, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’ World War II epic, and Colin Farrell’s detective series Sugar. Godzilla fans can devour the entire first series of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, while movie buffs can delight in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-nominated neo-western Killers of the Flowers Moon.
The streaming service is also gearing up for the release of genre sci-fi Dark Matter, starring Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly, and Jake Gyllenhaal’s legal thriller Presumed Innocent. Until May 8, Sky customers can also get a three-month free trial of Hayu, the channel that features 300 shows and 10,000 episodes of premium reality TV content, including The Real Housewives, Million Dollar Listing, Below Deck, and Vanderpump Rules.
Alternatively, several new shows are streaming on Amazon’s Prime Video, including the post-apocalyptic action adventure Fallout, the live-action adaptation of the hit video game franchise of the same name. The eight-part series can be streamed completely free today with a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime.
Elsewhere, Disney+ has announced that The Beatles’ 1970 film Let It Be will soon premiere on the platform after not being available for more than 50 years. Director Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s original film has been restored by Peter Jackson’s Park Road Post Production using the same technology used during the Emmy-winning documentary series Get Back.
