Sometimes what stands out in a computer setup is not an important piece, like a computer or a screen, but a cool accessory. Today’s colorful M1 Mac mini workstation with dual screens and tons of artwork features a cool accessory that could easily be overlooked: a Lab22 Infinity Adjust iPad stand.

iPad Pro on the Lab22 Infinity Adjust iPad Stand joins the M1 Mac mini in a dual-screen setup
Chicago-area artist and Redditor Tom Bacon showed off the colorful, art-filled dual-screen workstation in a post titled “Updated Mac mini setup.”
Your Mac mini M1 drives a pair of LG 4K displays, one oriented in landscape mode (horizontal) and another in portrait mode (portrait).
“I like my knick-knacks,” he said of the army of knick-knacks and figurines on the shelves when someone praised the lived-in look of the shelf compared to the staged ultra-minimalist configurations. “I work a lot here, as long as there’s not a cat sitting on my keyboard.”
And while he keeps it functional, he doesn’t mind a little clutter.
“Yes, I like to have some easy-to-access items on the stand,” he said. “I don’t mind a little clutter, I just need to keep things from piling up when I’m busy. Focus on art and productivity.”
Lab22 Infinite Adjustment iPad Stand
We noticed it when a commenter asked Bacon about the iPad stand on the right of the photo because it’s the first time we’ve seen it. It is a Lab22 Infinity Adjust stand for a 12.9-inch iPad. It is a collaboration with the Moment brand, known for its iPhone camera lenses. Another model is for the 11-inch iPad Pro or the 10.9-inch iPad Air.
It looks like a real beauty of a stand. And it better be priced at $199. This is how the company describes the booth:
Designed for Apple‘s 12.9-inch iPad Pro, Moment’s white LAB22 Infinity Adjust stand makes it easy to use your iPad for taking notes, drawing, or as a second screen. Constructed from durable aluminum, this stand attaches to your iPad using magnets beneath a microfiber surface, helping to minimize any metal-to-metal contact, and has an adjustable tilt from 5 to 90 degrees. Thanks to the 360-degree rotation, it can be used in both portrait and landscape orientation.
Features and Compatibility
- “Infinite” adjustability (depending on the company)
- Metallic monocoque
- Full coverage microfiber.
- Smooth moving hinges
- Improved magnets
- Easy grip edge
- Free motion orientation
- Protective layer
- Compatible with iPad Pro 12.9 inches (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th generation)
- Does not work with iPads in cases and skins.
And if you like the wallpaper displayed on the monitor in landscape orientation, you can get it here. And what’s on the screen in portrait mode is a 4K screenshot of the Horizon Zero Dawn game, Bacon said.
