On what fans can expect from ATE:
Felix: It’s been about nine months since we made our return.
Chan Explosion: Yeah, it’s been like, what? Eight months?
Felix: We did it (“Lose My Breath”), so, you know, fans can definitely be like, “Oh bro, what concept or what color are they going to use for this comeback album?” But I definitely think this is something we haven’t done in, like… this is the first time we’ve done this kind of concept. And the music style is also very different. But then you can be like, “Oh wow, so this kind of song… it’s definitely Stray Kids’ style.” You know what I mean?
Chan Explosion: It’s something we haven’t done before, but, you know, not just with the title track… a lot of other songs too, everything is very different. But, you know, in the end, it’s what we did. What we recorded. It just shows a different side of Stray Kids.
Felix: I think we fit that into the song pretty well.
Chan Explosion: Yes, yes, yes. Everyone did a great job.
Felix: It goes very well with our color.
About “Lose My Breath (Stray Kids cover)”:
Chan Explosion: With all eight voices coming out in the song, I feel like it’s a little more special. You know what I mean? Plus, it’s a very different Stray Kids song.
Felix: Yeah, it’s not a song we would always do, but then again, since we’re the ones doing it, I feel like we did a good job recording and preparing for this song.
Chan Explosion: Most of the time, I would be, you know, 3RACHA would be leading this song. But everyone did a great job, so, um, a big thank you to all the members. And, um, also, you know, I feel like, you know, because the weather is getting so hot these days… “Lose My Breath,” it kind of cools you down when you listen to the song in this hot weather.
Felix: Yes. No matter how hot it is, about 35 degrees (Celsius), it’s still good to listen to music, you know?
Stray Kids’ Bang Chan and Felix’s favorite songs:
Felix: What is your favorite Stray Kids song?
Chan Explosion: Brother, it’s so difficult! I can’t choose! (Laughs.) Do you have any?
Felix: I have… actually, (my favorite was) “DOMINO”.
Chan Explosion: DOMINO? “DOMINO” is pretty good. “DOMINO” is my wake-up alarm.
Felix: Oh really?!
Chan Explosion: Because it’s so loud right from the beginning (singing). And it wakes me up right away. I’m like, “Ah!”
Bang Chan and Felix talk about their hobbies:
Felix: Is there anything you’re interested in these days?
Chan Explosion: Ooh, interests… I don’t know… You know, I’ve been playing a lot of Genshin these days.
Felix: Genshin, yes, a lot. Same thing happens to me.
Chan Explosion: Sometimes when you take out the console to play, we play Tekken together. What else? I’ve been interested in football.
Felix: Have you been playing football?
Chan Explosion: Mmmmm.
Felix: Oh, yes, you got it.
Chan Explosion: Yes. Futsal with the partners and some other colleagues.
Felix: Oh yeah.
Chan Explosion: Um, what else am I doing? I’ve been trying to exercise a little more frequently these days.
Felix: Oh. Ah, you have more hobbies then… You have like three hobbies then.
Chan Explosion: I guess so.
Felix: I like to exercise, play soccer and then Genshin.
Chan Explosion: To be honest, yes. That makes sense. Because, you know me, I think a lot. And then I try to stop thinking about it, I try to find all these hobbies (laughs).
Felix: That’s good, man.
