In the documentary Hulutitled After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun, Jackson shared disturbing details about his behavior on set and his difficult transition to adulthood.
Jackson, who joined the cast of Baywatch at the age of ten, admitted that she used to sneak into her fellow cast members’ trailers to smell their dirty swimsuits after long days of filming.

“I usually snuck into the (women’s) trailers when they were done and took their dirty bathing suits.. “Let’s just say I smelled all the vaginas in Baywatch,” Jackson confessed verbatim in the documentary.
“Going through puberty on Baywatch was painful,” added the actor, who said that being part of such a sexualized product at such a young age affected him in multiple ways.
After the series, Jeremy developed several addiction problems, as well as facing the police on several occasions.
In his final year on the show, he began using drugs and eventually developed an addiction to crystal meth. He recalled how his co-star, David Hasselhoffasked him if he was smoking marijuana, and Jackson, unable to reveal the truth, reflected on the fear of being judged in that work environment. Jackson’s addiction culminated in his arrest in 1999, the same year the series ended, resulting in a 90-day jail sentence and subsequent rehabilitation.
“Life slipped through my fingers like sand,” Jackson said, reflecting on the years he lost to addiction and the struggles he faced growing up in such a peculiar environment.

In particular, Jackson pointed to Nicole Eggert as the main target of his inappropriate behavior. He claimed that he admired Eggert and had a “very intimate moment” with her, although “she was not aware of it.” The documentary producers informed Eggert of Jackson’s confession, who reacted with indifference, saying that she was not surprised.
“I know Jeremy very well, this doesn’t surprise me at all. There’s nothing Jeremy could say that would scare me.”she continued. “I’m not even mad at 14-year-old Jeremy. I mean, puberty on a show like this? I love adult Jeremy for being honest about 14-year-old Jeremy,” said Eggert, who faced her own personal challenge having recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.
“I know Jeremy very well, this doesn’t surprise me at all. There’s nothing Jeremy could say that would scare me,” Nichole said of Jeremy Jackson’s inappropriate behavior.
Baywatch, a television phenomenon of the 1990s, not only marked the careers of many of its actors, but also left deep personal scars, as Jackson’s story shows.
