In a video posted on Instagram on August 25, Radford revealed that, due to her pregnancy, she will have to pause her participation in the Miss Universe pageant, which will be held on November 16 in Mexico.

In an official statement, the organization welcomed the news of Radford’s pregnancy and acknowledged that, due to the circumstances, Monica Andrea will not be able to fulfill the commitments associated with her title.
