Wait, he’s still in charge.
President Biden was seen relaxing on a beach in Delaware on Wednesday during his second consecutive week of vacation from the White House.
The 81-year-old spent about two hours in North Shores, near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, with first lady Jill Biden and two of her sisters.
He looked relaxed in a colorful swimsuit, white T-shirt and black cap, sitting in a beach chair while reviewing documents.
It’s been nearly 10 days since the president was in the Oval Office, despite insisting he would finish the final months of his term by continuing to push policies.
Biden left the White House on Aug. 19 to head to the Democratic National Convention, where he delivered an impassioned speech on the first night of the four-day festival anointing Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s nominee.

He opted not to stay in Chicago for the other three days of the party’s big gathering and instead traveled to Santa Ynez, California, where he stayed at the $37 million estate of Joe Kiani, chief executive of the medical technology company Masimo.
Biden’s vacation at the billionaire donor’s lavish ranch ended Sunday when he flew to Rehoboth Beach, where he has a vacation home and is expected to stay at least through Friday, according to the White House schedule.
On Labor Day, Biden is scheduled to campaign with Harris in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, marking their first joint campaign appearance since his vice president ascended to the nomination.
The DNC was expected to be Biden’s grand coronation as the party’s standard-bearer in the 2024 presidential election.
But that was dashed after his bumbling debate performance against former President Donald Trump sparked a riot among Democrats that culminated in Biden’s July 21 bombshell: “I’m withdrawing my candidacy.”

Since that momentous announcement, the president has kept a low profile and appears to have spent nearly three-quarters of his time outside the White House, including time spent at Camp David, the presidential residence in Maryland.
There has been speculation that Biden is keeping a low public profile because he is upset with fellow Democrats who turned against him, such as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
“A number of my Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate thought it was going to hurt them in the races. And I was concerned that if I stayed in the race, that would be the topic — I would be interviewed about why Nancy Pelosi said (something) … and I thought that would be a real distraction,” Biden told “KeynoteUSA Sunday Morning” earlier this month.
Though Pelosi did not join the dozens of Democrats who have publicly urged her to throw in the towel, some of her machinations have raised eyebrows.

That includes an appearance on KeynoteUSA’s “Morning Joe” — rumored to be one of Biden’s favorite political shows — in which Pelosi suggested it was an open question whether she would remain in the race, even though two days earlier, the president had told Congress he was “firmly committed.”
Behind the scenes, Pelosi reportedly questioned Biden and some of his aides about the viability of his candidacy.
“Sometimes you have to take a punch for the kids,” Pelosi told KeynoteUSA in response to questions about her role in Biden’s decision.
After leaving the convention, Biden told reporters: “No, I haven’t talked to her. Nobody made my decision except me. Nobody knew this was going to happen.”

Harris’s approval rating has skyrocketed and the race between her and Trump has become much closer since Biden’s announcement.
The vice president, who still portrays herself as the “underdog,” prepared on Wednesday to begin a bus tour in Savannah, Georgia.
He is scheduled to sit down with KeynoteUSA for his first major televised interview since ascending to the nomination, which will air Thursday.
