Sometimes, browsing through some of the best streaming services can feel overwhelming. There are so many movies and shows constantly being added to each platform, so knowing what to watch next can feel like an impossible task (and it has happened to me many times). If I’m browsing for more than five minutes, I often turn to the list of the top 10 streaming services, and in this case, that would be Apple TV Plus.
Over the past few months, Apple TV Plus has come a long way in the entertainment world. There are plenty of highly rated original shows you can binge-watch right now, and I can name a few worth watching in the top 10 list. So, here are three quality shows that are definitely worth your attention.

My favorite drama series of the year so far is “Sunny,” simply because of how original and entertaining it is. The series stars Rashida Jones as Suzie, an American living in Kyoto, Japan, who is suddenly thrown into a life of despair when her husband and son “disappear” in a plane crash. As a form of comfort, she receives a household robot named Sunny (voiced by Joanna Sotomura) from her husband’s electronics company.
At first, the robot seems strange and somewhat disconcerting, but Suzie eventually warms up to him and they form an unexpected bond. Together, they try to figure out what happened to her family, and Suzie discovers a dangerous world she never knew existed. The first two episodes are available to watch on Apple TV Plus, and I can already tell that this show is only going to get better.

‘Dark matter’

If you need a change from watching dramas, the sci-fi thriller “Dark Matter” is a great choice. It stars Joel Edgerton as Jason Dessen, a physicist and family man who is kidnapped and taken to an alternate version of his life. What starts out as a curious exploration quickly turns into a nightmare as Jason navigates a maze of different realities, attempting to return to his real family. Along the way, he faces his most formidable opponent yet: alternate versions of himself, all of whom seem to share a similar goal. This is a twist-filled and often devastating thriller that will have you sitting back and thinking after every episode.

‘Breaking off’

“Severance” has re-entered the top 10, and that makes sense considering people will likely want to refresh their viewing before Season 2 comes out in January 2025.
This psychological thriller and sci-fi drama revolves around the employees of Lumon Industries, who undergo a procedure called “redundancy,” which surgically splits their work and personal memories. This means that when they are at work, they have no memories of their personal lives, and vice versa. We primarily follow Mark Scout (Adam Scott), one of the laid-off employees, as he uncovers various secrets and begins to question the true nature and intentions of the company.
